Seventh Day - The Word of God
"At that time the disciples approached Jesus and said: Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said: Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." (Mt. 18:1-4)
Reflection
Jesus does not demand that we already be perfect, but that we work to become better. That we master our pride and humbly acknowledge our sins; that we change our wrong ways of thinking and acting. He always offers us His love and His forgiveness.
Purpose
I will dedicate a moment every day to examine my conscience and I will try to correct my faults with my personal effort and the help of God.
Community Prayer
Trusting in the goodness of God, let us make our petitions:
That we may resolve to renew our spiritual life and our relationships with our neighbor. Hear us, Lord.
That, if it is His will, Jesus may grant us the grace we ask for in this novena. Hear us, Lord.

Here in Your Sanctuary with faith and prayer, we all ask for our conversion.
Young and old in great procession, we come joyfully to make our offering.
All the youth with great conviction, radiant with longing go to the Savior.
May our families like Nazareth, come to know its great virtues.
That we love all, the Lord commands us, with all the strength that we love God.
That at the end of my life with Your protection, I may have the joy of my salvation.

Lord, look upon our weakness and our inconstancy and grant us, with the help of Your grace, that following the example of Your Son Jesus, we may grow each day in love for You and for our neighbor, without neglecting our human and cultural progress. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
